You can volunteer to help us keep our info up-to-date:

Once you sign up as a volunteer, you are provided with a login to choose filters/criteria for the kinds of venues you are willing to research and update.

You can choose venues based on geographical location, genres booked, capacity, or the venue's openness to new talent (EG Open Mic)

After you sign up, the computer will regularly select venues using the following criteria:

• fit the criteria for the kinds of venues you are willing to research
• not currently "assigned" to a volunteer
• recently contacted by automatic email
• longest time without any update

The information we have will be e-mailed to you, as often as you select above, along with the information we would like to have.

Then it's up to you to dig out the information.

Please dig out as much as you can about the venue online and through other sources before contacting the venue to maximize your contact with the venue.

It is expected that volunteers will act in a professional and courteous manner.

Rather than send you more records to update, a reminder will be sent at the selected interval until you update the record currently "assigned" to you.

Finally, use the link provided in the e-mail to update our online database.
